     Her name was legally changed to Clara Persily.
     In September 1920, Chaika lived at 2265 Davidson Avenue, Bronx, New York.2 She petioned for naturalization on 19 September 1920 Southern District, New York, New York, She stated that she lived at 2265 Davidson Ave, Bronx, NY and was a finisher of coats. She listed as being born in Volin, Russia on January 1, 1902 and was not married.2
     Chaika Pertzelai and Chantse Pertzelai immigrated to New York on 20 September 1920. "Chaika Perselaj", age 19, and her sister "Chana Perselaj", age 17 arrived from Woloczysk, Poland on the New Rochelle from Danzig, West Prussia, Prussia, Germany. They were listed as single, female, and seamstresses. Their ethnicity was listed as Polish. Their father is listed as Aron Percelaj from Woloczysk, their last permanent residence and birthplace. They came with no money. Also on the boat were Malka and Ruchla Perselaj and Herman Persely.3,4

     David Krehl Brickman married Chantse Pertzelai, daughter of Avram Pertzelai, on 11 November 1922 in New York, New York. According to her granddaughter Andrea, Anna supposedly met David on a blind date in Prospect Park. Miriam, said in an e-mail that they were distant cousins. I do not know the relationship. Andrea noticed that David's mother and Chantse's mother were both "Blatt"'s.4,5,6,7

     David Krehl Brickman died on 21 January 1958 at age 59.2 He was buried Jewish Peoples Cemetery, Albany, New York. Burial record comment on jewishgen, reads: Containes photo of Tombstone: beloved husband / devoted father, birth and death.2

     Miriam Brickman was born born one half hour after Arthur and a total surprise to everyone. on 6 December 1933 Fairview Hospital, Great Barrington, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of David Krehl Brickman and Chantse Pertzelai.

     Miriam Brickman married Dr. Ronald Senator on 17 October 1986 in New York, New York.1

     Miriam Brickman married Dr. Ronald Senator on 13 June 1987 in London, England.1
     Miriam and Ronald lived at 17 Hillcrest Street, Yonkers, New York.
     She was a world renowned pianist for over six decades. She was a guest soloist at the Moscow Philharmonic, Lincoln Center, and the Brooklyn Philharmonic, amongst others. She performed in Asia under the US Information Service and in the 1960's and was musical director for the Asian touring production of "How to Succeed in Business". She was an active performer on many cruise voyages, did outreach in nuring homes and prisons, and taught privately. She and Ronnie were noted for their gracious "Musicales" at their home in Yonkers. Her style of music included literary recitations, often in another language..2

     Miriam Brickman died on 30 April 2015 Yonkers, New York, at age 81 Miriam and Ronald were killed in an overnight fire at their home..2

"Ralinen Parcelaj" age 58, from Prokurow, Russia, arrived on the Nieuw Amsterdam from Rotterdam with his wife, "Ides" age 59, and two children, "Scheindel" age 15 and "Freide" age 13.(I think these were Jennie and Fanny). They were going to a son, Machel Parcelay at 116-15 E 105th Street, New York. Kalman listed that he had 4 sons and 2 daughters in the U.S. According to Laura Persily, Fannie told the story that they arrived on July 4th and couldn't land. Nobody on the ship could understand why, and then they began to hear frightening explosions. The next day, when they docked, they were told about the celebrations. Note - Kalman does not have a child named Machel. I am not sure who this person is.3,4,5
     Her name was legally changed to Edith Persily.3
     In 1911, Edith and Kalman lived at 532 East 11th Street, New York, New York.3

She was going to her brother Usher at that address.4 He was a laundry owner. According to Carl Burtoff, during the winter, he often went from the hot laundry to the cold outside to make deliveries. He developed a cough, neglected it, the cough became "walking pneumonia" and he died around age 50. circa 1930 in Brooklyn, New York.5

Listed with wife Fannie, age 45, age at marriage 21, immigrated 1896, naturalized; Anna, age 20, born New York, bookkeeper for insurance company; Clarence, age 17 born New York, and Joseph, age 13, born New York. Also listed was Mother-in-law Sara "Meininsdorf" age 76. Rent listed as $60.3
