From what is here it appears that Wolf MAI was born in Hu"ngheim (that is an umlaut over the u), was resident in something like Insdorf (?), wanted to go to Amerika (I cant really read this so far - just a guess), to work with somone? It was made out at Adelsheim, 28 October; it is for the district of Adelsheim (at top) Other side is mostly a description of Wolf, starting with his age of 18 years, so born about 1784. This would put him in William's grandfather's generation, I would guess. At the upper right (right side) it
may say that the pass is granted for 2 years. Upper left says pass No. 201. And below that County Unterheim. I am having difficulty reading more of the pass - the handwriting is
not very clear to me. Wolf seems to have been of strong stature, a longish face, healthy complexion, (something) brown hair, brown eyebrows, grey eyes, no beard, round chin, good teeth, and no particular marks. He was single. At lower left side is his signature.1 He was born circa 1784 Hungheim, Germany.1 He was survived by a sister in Germany, according tonthe Obit of William May his son.2
