She Sabine (Sara) Rosenthal, also known as Fammachin, says ion her letter that Hannah and Aaron were her and Walter's grandparents. I am not sure who's child she was.5

     He owned clothing store in Gloversville. Gustav "Gumbel" Levor Immigrated to US about 1867 or 70 to Oakhill, NY (South Albany County). worked on a newspaper to learn english. He peddled wares at the same time. Came to G'ville, found a vacant store. settled in FourCorners in 1873. 1876 began tanning leather in basement of store. 1882 married Louise lehman from Utica (27 Prospect) where Grace and Sylvia were born. In 1882 he told Oma that when he made as much money in leather as in clothing, he would give up clothing. sopld clothing business to chief clerk who promptly wnet broke. Levor gradually prospered in leather and became amillionaire.
