     This person, is probably the mother of Chaya Eisner. This would make Miriam and Chaya sisters and therefore Chaim and Marie would be the Aunt and uncle that Helen and Betti listed on their immigration manifest. Chaim was married to Marie and they appear on the 1910 census at 322 S. 5th.. Neice and nephew Mary Eisner and Abraham Eisner are listed.

     Helen? Jacobs died before 1887 because Chaya had a daughter, Helen in 1887..³

     Chaim Weiner was born circa 1860 Ukraine, Russia. According to Luke's notes, his death certificate in 1924 lists his age as 64, and his 1910 Census lists it as 49.¹ Chaim Weiner was also known as Hyman Weiner.²

Included were the children Rachel, oct 1886, age 3 (immigrated 1889..11 years in US) and attending college; Fannie born July 1888, age 12 and also immigrating in 1889 and attending school; and Joe, born Apr 1884, age 6 and bborn NY.³

     Malovin Eisner, age 18 and Marjem Eisner, age 15, both listed as female seamstresses arrived at Ellis Island on August 22, 1905. They were going to her uncle, Chaim Weiner at 148 Rivington St The were picked up by Mrs. Chaim Wisner or Veiner (sic) from 138 (148) Rivington.¹
     Have e-mails from Chaim Rosenberg, March 2005 showing that these are his grandparents plus e-mails from Luke showing that Helen and Betti went to their Uncle, Chaim Weiner. Chaim's wife, Maria (Miriam) was born an Eisner.

Also listed was Mary Eisner, niece age 20 and Abraham Eisner, nephew, age 25.¹

Chaim , age 60 immigrated in 1889, naturalized 1905, salesman at shoestore. Miriam, age 59, homemaker.Joseph, age 31 was single and living at home. Clerk in dry goods store.⁴

     Chaim Weiner died on 12 May 1924 New York Hyman Weiner's death certificate is #9990, Kings County, NY.¹ He was buried Mt. Zion Cemetery. Hyman Weiner, 7-MRL Buczaczer-1 is the listing. There is also a referece to a Bennie Eisner, buried at 4-MRL Buczaczer-1 on 3/5/1922. his death certificate reads 19 years, Mar 5, 1922, Certif # 1098 Queens county.

     Miriam Eisner was born on 10 November 1860 Austria. According to Luke's notes, her death certificate in 1930 lists his age as 70, and her 1910 Census lists it as 49.^1,2 She was the daughter of Mendel Eisner and Helen? Jacobs.³

     Miriam Eisner immigrated to United States on 3 March 1890. Maria Weiner, age 31 and her daughters Rachel, age 3 and Tema, age 10 months, immigrated from Austria on the Rhaetia. She was naturalized in 1897 Chaim Rosenberg has seen papers that Hyman was naturalized in 1905 (1920 Census) but he has found papers from a naturalization of a Hyman Weiner in 1897 who lived at 151 (possible written 157) Rivington Street, also a shoe dealer. Pet for intention seems to be 1895.⁴
